Saratoga Race Course

Open in late July and reaching its pinnacle with the Travers Stakes race on the last Saturday in August, the Saratoga Race Course is one of the oldest major sporting venues of any kind in the country. Even if betting on the horses isn’t for you, there is truly something magical about spending a day at the races.

Saratoga Spa State Park

Listed as a National Historic Landmark, the Saratoga Spa State Park is a 2,379-acre state park just minutes from the Community Court Motel. In addition to walking and bike paths, public pools and a multitude of traditional recreation opportunities, the Park is home to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the Roosevelt Baths and Spa, two museums and two beautiful golf courses.

Saratoga Performing Arts Center

Also known simply as SPAC, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center is a concert and performance center located in Saratoga Spa State Park. Every summer, the covered outdoor amphitheater hosts the Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York City Ballet, as well as numerous other musical artists, international dance companies, and world-renowned performers.

Saratoga is full of history, and home to a number of historical sites and museums, including the Tang Museum for art, the National Museum of Dance, the Saratoga Automobile Museum and, of course, the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame.
